This policy describes how Groundlayer LLC and its operating brands (Simon L. Paige Web Design, RivalDrop, Anvilshare) collect, store, and handle the information you provide when you use our services or visit our websites.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly:

• Name, email address, and phone number when you contact us or sign up for a service.
• Business name and address if you are a client.
• Payment information processed through Stripe. We do not store card numbers on our servers.
• Content you provide for website projects, competitive intelligence accounts, or software replacement engagements.

We collect some information automatically:

• Server logs record your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. These logs are retained for 90 days.
• We do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies on groundlayer.co.
• Child brand sites (simonlpaige.com, rivaldrop.com, anvilshare.ai) may use PostHog for product analytics. Each site discloses this in its own privacy notice.

How we use it

• To deliver the services you paid for.
• To send invoices and service-related emails through Resend.
• To respond to inquiries sent to [email protected].
• To comply with legal obligations (tax filings, Missouri business records).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. We do not use your data to train machine learning models.

How we store it

Client data is stored on infrastructure we control or on services with published security practices:

• Application data: PostgreSQL on Railway (encrypted at rest).
• File uploads: Cloudflare R2 (encrypted at rest).
• Payment processing: Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1).
• Email: Resend (TLS in transit).
• DNS and edge: Cloudflare.

We retain client data for the duration of the service relationship plus 12 months, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

• You can request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• You can request correction of inaccurate data.
• You can request deletion of your data. We will comply within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
• You can withdraw consent for non-essential communications at any time.

Missouri does not currently have a comprehensive consumer data privacy statute. We apply these rights to all users regardless of location.
